Metzee is a marketplace where small makers sell what they make, live on camera.
Why live
Photographs flatten things. A potter can turn a bowl in the light, a weaver can show the reverse of a kantha, a jeweller can put a stone next to a coin for scale — and answer the question you actually have, while you are asking it. A listing cannot do that.
How it is different
- You buy from a real, identified seller. Often the person who made it; sometimes a collector, a dealer or a shop. Every store is identity-checked before it can take a rupee.
- Your money waits. Payment is held until the item reaches you.
- It speaks your language. The whole app, and every email it sends, in eleven Indian languages and English.
- It ships anywhere in India. Each item carries its own delivery rules — courier, local delivery, or collection — and tracking comes with it.
Where we are
Early. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise. If you make things and want to sell this way, start a store — we read every application ourselves.
