How to report a seller or a listing

Where the button is, what to include, and what happens afterwards.

There is a report option on a listing and inside a show. Use it.

What is worth reporting

  • An item you believe is counterfeit
  • A description that does not match what was shown
  • A seller pushing you to pay outside Metzee
  • Abuse, in chat or on camera
  • Something that should not be sold at all

What to include

What you saw, and when. If it was in a show, roughly the time. If it was a listing, which item. A screenshot if you have one.

You do not need to prove the case. You need to point at the thing.

What happens next

A person looks. Depending on what they find, the listing comes down, the seller is warned, or the account goes. You are told the outcome.

If you already bought something from them, the money is still with us until it reaches you.

Questions people ask

Will they know it was me?

Reports are not shown to the seller.

What if I am wrong?

Then nothing happens to them. Reporting in good faith is not held against you.

What if somebody asks me to pay on WhatsApp?

Report it, and do not pay. Why that is a worse deal than it looks.

What if I already paid outside Metzee?

Tell us anyway, so they can be stopped. We cannot recover money that never went through us.
