Not at the moment. Shows are live and then gone — there is no recording to go back to, and no replay.
That is a current state rather than a policy. Recording is built and waiting on the storage side of it being switched on, which is a launch task. Until then there is nothing kept.
What that means for you
If you missed a show, you missed it. Not the items, though — unsold items usually come back in the next show, and the store page has whatever is listed. What is gone is the seller's description of each piece.
So do not rely on catching up. If an item matters to you, be there, or set a maximum bid on it so you do not have to be. What a maximum bid is
And do not bid on something whose description you missed. This is the practical consequence. Rejoining mid-item shows you a price without the five sentences that explained the condition. Ask, or let it go. The seller is holding it up and I still cannot see it
What will change
When recording is switched on, two things become possible:
- Clips — a seller saving the last thirty seconds or so of a show as a short, shareable moment. The groundwork is there; it currently answers
Clips aren’t switched on yet. - A record of what was said about an item, which matters for a dispute as much as for watching.
Neither exists today, and this post will be updated when they do rather than left to imply they already work.
Are you in it?
Worth answering even now, because people assume a recording means they were filmed.
You are not on camera. Your device's camera is never used in a show — only the seller broadcasts. What exists of you in a show is your display name against a bid and anything you typed in the chat. Can the seller see me?
So even once recording is on, what is recorded is the seller's video and the room's chat, not you.
If you want a record of what was said
Until recording exists, the things that do persist:
- The listing text, which is the seller's written description and is the thing a dispute is decided against
- Your order, with what you paid and when
- The chat for an hour after the show, which is long enough to get a detail confirmed in writing
If a seller tells you something important on camera, ask them to put it in the chat. That is a record; the video is not.
