Your order shows one of these. Each is waiting on something specific.
Waiting for payment
You have won or added something and not paid yet. Waiting on you, and there is a clock: 30 minutes for an auction win. What is an unpaid win?
Order confirmed
Paid. Waiting on the store to start packing.
Being packed
The store has it in hand. Waiting on their dispatch time — the number they published, which you saw before buying. Will my order go out today?
On its way
Posted, with tracking. Waiting on the courier.
For pickup it says Ready to collect, with your collection deadline — and that one is waiting on you. What does "collect by" mean?
For a store's own delivery it says Out for delivery.
Delivered
Either you confirmed it, or seven days passed and it was marked automatically. The automatic mark is bookkeeping, not a claim that it arrived — your protection is unaffected. Why does my order say delivered when I did not confirm?
Cancelled
By you before it shipped, or by the store. Either way you are refunded in full including delivery. The seller cancelled my order
Refunded
Money returned to the method you paid with. A few days to show on a card.
The two that need you
Waiting for payment and Ready to collect. Both have deadlines and both cost you something if they pass — a strike, or a no-show fee.
Everything else is waiting on somebody else, and the right response is usually patience followed by a message. How to message a seller about an order
When a status looks wrong
Delivered but nothing came — raise it, do not wait. Tracking says delivered but nothing arrived
On its way with no movement for days — usually an unscanned leg rather than a lost parcel. Tracking has not moved in days
Being packed past the dispatch time — message the store, then raise it.
More: my parcel has not arrived, how long will it take to arrive, changing or cancelling an order after paying.
