One public room per show. Everybody watching sees everything, including the host.
There is no private channel inside a show. Is the show chat public?
What you need
An account — a verified mobile number. Watching needs nothing; chatting needs that. Can I watch without an account?
The limits
300 characters a message, so nobody holds the floor.
Five messages in five seconds, then you are asked to slow down. Not a punishment — it is what stops one person flooding a room.
It stays open for an hour after the show ends, so a conversation is not cut off the moment the seller stops broadcasting.
Who is who
People from the store carry a badge — the host, a moderator, or a team member shown as their name alongside the store's.
That matters: it tells you whether the person answering a question about condition speaks for the store or is another buyer guessing. What is a host?
A seller can also choose to speak as their store rather than as themselves.
Mentions
You can mention someone in a message, which is how a host picks a question out of a fast room.
What the chat is good for
Asking for the item to be shown. "Can you turn it over?" is the most valuable thing you can type, and the thing a photograph cannot give you. Can I ask for more photos before bidding?
Asking about size, condition and materials, publicly — the answer helps everyone, and an answer given in the open is one the seller stands behind.
Saying hello. Rooms where people talk sell more than silent ones.
What to take elsewhere
Anything personal — your address, your number.
A problem with an order. Raise it from the order, where there is a record and a route. The seller is mid-show and the chat has no memory. How to raise an issue
An argument with another viewer. Report it instead.
If your message does not appear
Four different things can stop it, and they say different things. Why was my chat message hidden?
More: what is not allowed in a show chat, why was my chat message hidden, is the show chat public.
