Metzee gives you more numbers than are useful. This is which four screens hold them and which five figures are worth acting on.
The four screens
Store snapshot— the dashboard. This month at a glance, plusNeeds your attention.Seller analytics— the detail, in tabs:Products,Shows,Customers,Timing,Marketing.Your earnings— the money. How to read your statement.Account health— the six standards Metzee measures you against.
Start with Needs your attention
Before any analysis. It is the list of things that are actively costing you right now:
{n} orders to fulfil · {n} overdue orders · {n} due in the next 12 hours · {n} open disputes · {n} unread enquiries · {n} items running low
Past the shipping deadline or promised delivery time is the one to clear first. Respond to protect your rating is the second. Everything else on every other screen can wait until this list is empty.
Insight is for after the fires are out.
The five figures that matter
1. Sold % — on the Products tab
Of the items you put up, how many sold. The single most useful number Metzee shows a seller, and the one most often ignored in favour of views.
Low sell-through means your start prices are too high, your photos are not opening listings, or the lineup does not suit the room. It tells you which by what sits next to it.
The screen even sorts it for you: Lots of views, no sales: is a price or description problem. Saved but not bought: is a price problem, full stop — people want it at less than you are asking.
2. Best time to go live — on the Timing tab
Built from your own buyers, not a general rule, and shown with Most orders come in around and Busiest days & hours. Times in IST.
Moving a show by two hours is free. It is the highest-return change available to a small store, and most sellers never look.
3. Returning buyers — on the Customers tab
New vs returning buyers, with Orders per buyer and Lifetime value.
A store that only ever sells to new buyers is on a treadmill and will feel it by month four. Repeat buyers are what turns selling into a business, and they come from packaging, speed and being decent in chat — not from promotion.
Top buyers names them. Knowing who your best five customers are is worth more than any chart on this screen.
4. Avg order value — dashboard and analytics both
The lever nobody pulls. Combined shipping, bundles and "anything else while I have the box open" raise it without a single extra buyer.
5. Your worst number on Account health
Six standards: Order defect rate, Late shipment rate, Seller cancellation rate, Valid tracking rate, Replies within 24 hours, Customer rating.
Look at whichever is worst and nothing else. Each one tells you exactly what it would take to fix it — Your next {k} orders need to be shipped on time to get under {target}%. That is a to-do item, not a statistic.
What to ignore
Page views. Views without Sold % next to them tell you nothing you can act on. A show with 900 viewers and four sales is a worse show than one with 90 viewers and twenty.
Viewers as a goal. It is an input. Sales and followers are outputs.
Any figure with no comparison. The screens offer Previous period, This period and Compared with {words}. A number alone is trivia; a number against last month is information.

Fifteen minutes, five decisions. More time than that spent on these screens is time not spent listing.
Set a goal, if it helps you
Monthly sales goal with Goal amount (₹), then Set a goal. The dashboard shows On track or Behind pace and {amount}/day needed.
Useful if a target motivates you, and worth switching off if it just makes a slow week feel worse. Remove goal.
Questions people ask
Which single number should I watch?
Sold %. If it is healthy, most other things are working.
Why are my views high and sales low?
The listing is opening and not converting. Price, photos or description — the Lots of views, no sales: list is exactly that set of items.
Why do my analytics look empty?
Some figures need data before they exist: Viewer counts start from your next live show. and Buyer locations appear once you make sales in this period. They are not broken; there is nothing to show yet.
Does Metzee show me other sellers' numbers?
No. Everything here is your own store.
How often should I look?
Once a month for the habit above, plus Needs your attention daily. Daily analytics-watching is a way of feeling busy.
