Three things, in this order.
The order is cancelled when the payment window closes — thirty minutes if you were watching, twelve hours if it ended while you were away.
A strike is recorded against your account.
The item is offered to the next bidder at their own bid. They get twelve hours, because they were not expecting the message.
What a strike actually costs
One is a mistake and is treated like one. A pattern stops you bidding, because a bidder who does not pay is not bidding — they are standing in the way of people who are.
Why it works this way
An unpaid win is not a neutral event. The seller stopped selling to sell you that thing. The under-bidder, who wanted it and was willing to pay, went home without it. Neither of them did anything wrong.
If something genuinely went wrong
A failed payment is not the same as walking away, and we can tell the difference. If your bank blocked it, or the UPI app never came back, try again inside the window and say so if it is still failing.
Questions people ask
Can I get the item back after the window closes?
Only if the next bidder declines it. Ask the seller.
Does a strike expire?
It is a record, not a life sentence. Repeated ones are what matter.
I am blocked from bidding — how do I clear it?
Clear the unpaid win. If you believe it is wrong, tell us.
Can I just make a new account?
No. One person, one account — and a new one does not escape it.
