Seller settings → Payouts & bank account, then Change bank account.

You will see Bank account saved when it has taken.
The timing that matters
Do not change it while a payout is in flight.
A payout already on its way to the old account will go there. One that has not started will use the new details. So look at Available to withdraw and your payout history first, and change the account when nothing is pending.
If you have Automatic payouts on, a change takes effect from the next run — which may be sooner than you expect.
What is re-checked
The name on the account has to match what your store is verified as. That is the check that fails most often, and it fails for mundane reasons: a middle name on the bank record that is not on your PAN, or a business account for a store registered to an individual.
If you are changing from a personal account to a business one, expect that to be looked at rather than waved through.
If a payout then fails
Almost always a details mismatch — the name, or a wrong IFSC. The money is not lost: fix the details and it is retried. Payout failed.
What you cannot do
Have two payout accounts. One is used. Change it when you need to rather than keeping both.
Pay out to someone else's account. It has to be in your name or your business's name, which the screen says: Use an account in your name or your business’s name.
The practical order
- Check nothing is pending.
- Change the details.
- Withdraw a small amount, if you can, and confirm it lands.
- Then go back to your normal schedule.
That third step takes a day and saves you discovering a mismatch on a large payout.
