Yes. A store can have a team, and people on it get roles rather than the owner's password.
That distinction is the whole feature. Sharing a login means sharing a bank account, a phone number and an identity; a team does not.
What can be shared
Roles cover the real jobs: going live, scheduling shows, running the lineup, moderating chat, managing listings, handling orders and answering buyers.
So two people can genuinely split a store — one makes and packs, the other hosts and answers — without either of them pretending to be the other. How to add someone to your team
What cannot be shared
The money. Payouts, bank details and the balance stay with the owner. There is no role that hands them over.
That is deliberate and it is worth being glad about: the single most damaging thing that can happen to a small store is someone else reaching its payouts.
What buyers see
The store's name and branding, with the person's own name alongside, marked as part of the team. Honest by design — a buyer who thinks they are talking to the maker and later finds otherwise feels sold to. What is a host?
Who should be the owner
Whoever the business legally is. The bank account, the PAN and the tax identity all sit with the owner, so the owner has to be the person those belong to.
If you are genuinely equal partners, that is a decision to make deliberately rather than by whoever signed up first — and to write down between yourselves, because the app can only know one answer.
If it is a group rather than a pair
The same mechanism works: one store, one owner, several people with roles. A collective selling under one name is a normal arrangement and a good use of this.
What does not work is several people each listing the same shared stock from separate accounts — you end up with duplicate listings, split ratings, and an argument about whose sale it was.
What happens when somebody leaves
Their place on the team is given up and the owner is told. The store, the listings, the ratings and the money are unaffected, because none of those were ever theirs to take.
If you would rather have two stores
Also fine, if you genuinely sell different things. Two stores means two sets of everything — ratings, followers, delivery rules — which is a cost, not a hedge. Most pairs are better off with one. How to open a store
