No. EMI is not offered on Metzee.
What you can pay with
UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, and Metzee Credits if you have any. The payment screen states it: Powered by Razorpay · UPI, Cards, Net Banking.
What comes closest
Your card issuer's own instalment scheme. Some banks let you convert a completed card transaction into instalments afterwards, from their own app or by calling them. That is between you and your bank — Metzee is not involved and cannot set it up for you.
If that is how you plan to pay for something expensive, check your bank's rules before you bid, because the payment itself still has to go through in full first.
Why instalments and auctions fit badly
A win has a short payment window — thirty minutes if you were watching. Instalment approval is not a thirty-minute process at anybody's bank.
More fundamentally, an auction price is not known until the auction ends. A credit arrangement needs an amount; a bid does not have one until it is over. The two do not line up.
The practical advice
Bid what is in your account now. Not what will be there on Friday, and not what you hope to spread over three months.
That is not a restriction so much as the discipline the format asks for. A bid is binding, the window is short, and a win you cannot pay for costs you a strike. Can I pay later?
If an item is beyond your budget
Two honest routes:
- Buy-now listings are not auctions. There is no window pressure, so you can wait until the money is there — the risk is that someone else buys it first.
- Make an offer, if the seller has offers switched on. You name a price, they accept, counter or decline.
Neither is credit. Both are ways of buying when you are ready rather than when a timer says so.
